Prijs en kwaliteit waren aantrekkelijk voor een groot publiek. De merknaam op de tank was Veloce, maar in de volksmond werd er vanwege dat het een kleine motorfiets was gesproken over Velocette. Reden voor de fabriek\u00a0 het logo op de tank conform aan te passen. Oorspronkelijk waren het toermodellen en een damesmodel. In 1916 stopt de produktie vanwege het inschakelen\u00a0\u00a0van Veloce Ltd voor fabrikage van oorlogstuig. De fabrikage wordt in 1919 hervat .Tweetakt motoren zijn\u00a0de basis voor het Velocette programme; het model GTP dat vanaf 1930 verschijnt zal tot 1940 blijven.\u00a0Dit overzicht toont de ontwikkeling van\u00a02- tact modellen en \u00a0de specifieke kenmerken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Nederland is zijn er wenig vroege 2 tact modellen bekend.
